What's been happening...

The last several weeks have definitely been a roller coaster for me. There's been some good things and some not so good things. Let's just get the bad out of the way first. The week after the Kentucky Derby, I was working in my freshly tilled garden and I suddenly heard and felt a pop in my lower back. I have barely been able to move since then. I've recently had an MRI and I'm waiting on the official report, but the bulge in my lower back on the images don't look to good. What does that mean? Well I'm a little slower. I can't sit for long periods of time, and it's a little difficult getting up and down. No worries though, I'm fighting through everything and getting stuff done.

Now that the bad is out of the way, let's focus on the good, because there is certainly way more good than bad. First, I had the honor of taking photos for the Rineyville Ballpark Baseball and Softball Teams. It's always a blast working with kids of all ages. Something that is unique about my Sports Sessions or League Sessions is you and your athlete have choices when it comes to poses. My kids that are in sports have basically had the same position since they started. Instead of keeping to tradition, I offer choices that can help bring out your personality. My list isn't the end all be all either. There was one player who came and had a specific request, and I made it happen. It looks amazing on the Specialty Graphic the family chose as well.

In addition to this, my daughter graduated from North Hardin High School! I'm so proud of her for graduating with a 3.8 GPA. What are her plans? She's going to start at Western Kentucky University (WKU) this fall. She'll be working on a BS in Geology. Once she finished, then she'll be on the road to the University of Cincinnati, where she plans on getting her Masters and PHD in Paleontology.

There are a few other things, but I will save those for a later date. Don't forget, TAKE THE PHOTO!
